Josué Amador Valdez: I am a composer, guitarist, researcher, and educator. My practice is informed by notions of improvisation, experimental music composition, and sound studies.
I studied western classical guitar, jazz performance, music composition, and sonology. I have two bachelors, a MA and a PhD.

I am part of RASL since 2018(?) and since then, I have been involved in several research projects including the development of this minor. Currently, together with a fantastic group of colleagues, I am working on developing the RASL bachelor program which will be launched in 2025(?).
